The Sunday Night Adventure Club - 22nd January 2005

Space, Sci-fi and the Stand Up of the Future
Is the theme of the first show.
Dan Antopolski is headlining. He is innovative and fantastic and funny.
We've also got a plethora of exciting cameos and the house band the Back to the Future Three.

The Sunday night Adventure Club is a comedy night that is run on exuberance and kindness. We promise secret handshakes, membership cards and one off excitements!
Each night is run to a different theme, meaning that the acts write special pieces for the night itself, and that there will be games, prizes, thrills and spills also.

The club runs on the penultimate sunday of each month at the abc cafe in Crystal Palace.
check out:
www.cafeabc.co.uk
for directions. It's a lovely venue and it's run by lovely people.

The show starts promptly at 8pm and it's £5 to get in.

You should all totally come!

The New Year and Writing and such

Zam!
Already the new year is behaving like a peach to me!
Danny (my writing partner and housemate) and I went to our first ever writers' meeting for The Now Show. We spent the day writing jokes to submit to. Colin, our producer and patron, put our names on the door of one of the writers' rooms to make us feel more official. We were made up. I don't know how many of our jokes will be good enough, or not weird enough. We did get to write a joke about harnessing the anger of bears though. And how can that be wrong when it feels so right.

I made my flyers up for the Sunday Night Adventure Club shows until July. they are the fiery boss!

And I am going to buy a lap top tomorrow then i can learn to upload pictures and such onto my blog like my friends tim and mei yau do on their excellent blog:

All is damned well!
